This is a fast paced environment so the post holder will have to feel comfortable, adaptable and natural problem solvers. Additionally, this role has high level of engagement with exec level stakeholders, applicants therefore must have strong communication skills.

This role has no direct reports.

Competitive Base $140,000 + 10% Bonus + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Actively enhance the customer experience through diligent support and innovation.

  • Analyse software costing models and steer stakeholders towards recommendations.

  • Lead negotiations and contract management for enterprise-wide software agreements with senior guidance.

  • Strategize proactively with business and technical teams to align with organisational requirements.

  • Commandeer cross-functional teams to craft requirements specifications, ensuring supplier quality and responsiveness.

  • Develop robust supply sources, maintaining strategic supplier relationships.

  • Excel in competitive RFP, RFQ, and RFI executions, deploying comprehensive market knowledge for optimal strategies.

  • Assess and ensure financial stability of potential software suppliers.

  • Undertake strategic business analysis, focusing on minimising the total cost of ownership.

  • Continuously identify and realise cost savings, while fostering a culture of financial stewardship.

  • Manage supplier performance, becoming the go-to for conflict resolution.

  • Craft strategic category plans, understanding the business goals and supply market intricacies.

Requirements

  • Possession of a Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent mix of education and practice.

  • A substantial understanding of software types, including agreements and IT product intricacies.

  • A minimum of five years' experience in procurement negotiation and contract stewardship.

  • Competency in electronic procurement and contract solutions for at least one to three years.
