The Opportunity:-
My market leading client, who are going through a significant transformation, are currently recruiting for a Senior Category Manager (Professional Services). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative category strategies, procurement pipeline development, tendering / sourcing and post-contract advisory. There will also be significant stakeholder engagement and this opportunity will have line management responsibility.

Key Candidate Criteria:-
Category management / procurement experience gained within a Public Sector environment (essential)
Experience of strategic procurement for services, ideally Professional Services / consultancy spend areas such as construction, works, engineering, R&D, finance
Pro-active / solution focussed approach, with the ability to work at pace with high volumes.
Great stakeholder relationship engagement skill / business partnering approach.
Line management / mentoring experience (desirable)
