My client, a high profile public sector organisation, are currently recruiting into a Head of Procurement level opportunity that will lead a team who are delivering commercial / procurement / contract management activities across a diverse range of goods and services.
Working within a fascinating organisation that deliver real benefit to the public, the successful candidate will be a self-starter with an innovative, coaching, collaborative and business partnering approach.
The successful candidate will ideally bring a blend of the following: -
An inclusive leadership approach with a background of managing, coaching and developing commercial / procurement teams.
Strategic Category Management experience, with the ability to work across a number of different goods / services spend areas.
Excellent senior stakeholder relationship / business partnering skills, with the ability to continually enhance commercial engagement
Public Sector or regulated environment experience is a desirable
Candidates must be eligible to live / work in the UK and be prepared to go through a security clearance process.
