Head of Category - Construction & Estates
Salary band of c£57-£74k dependant on location + excellent benefits. This opportunity offers hybrid working and can be based across a number of locations across East / South East England.
My client is currently recruiting for a Head of Category for the construction / estates / FM spend areas. Managing a team, the successful candidate will lead on the development of strategic category, procurement and contract management strategies which will reach across a wide stakeholder community.
The successful candidate will ideally bring a blend of the following skills / experience: -
Clear commercial / procurement experience in the construction / estates / FM categories at a category manager or senior category manager level
Experience of contracting utilising the Public Sector procurement rules - PCR2015 / OJEU
Knowledge of category management / contract management, and its commercial value, coupled with the ability to deliver across multiple projects
Great stakeholder relationship engagement skills / business partnering approach
Team leadership / management skills
