Position Overview
As the Group Procurement Manager, you will be pivotal in managing procurement activities and contract management solutions across allocated categories. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, you will be a trusted Business Partner, providing expert procurement advice and support. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a well-established and reputable organization.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for property and facilities procurement queries, offering expert advice and guidance
Partner with key stakeholders across the Group to ensure effective management of procurement requirements and contract management solutions
Support the Senior Group Procurement Manager in high-value and complex projects, deputising as necessary
Identify savings opportunities in collaboration with the Facilities Business Manager
Manage the Procurement Pipeline and Tracker, ensuring projects are completed successfully
Conduct commercial and contract negotiations, implementing appropriate tactics to achieve favourable outcomes
Own the end-to-end procurement process, including ITT/RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs
Develop relationships with existing suppliers to reduce costs, enhance service, and deliver innovation and sustainability benefits
Ensure all procurement activities align with internal Procurement Policy & Procedures
Ensure all contracts meet Group policy, regulatory, and industry standards
Requirements
Proven experience in indirect procurement, with exposure to property, facilities, IT, and Marketing categories
Strong knowledge of property lease and facilities contracts, as well as relocation projects
Experience in end-to-end strategic procurement, ideally within the Financial Services sector
Ability to influence and win over stakeholders
Experience in environment-related improvements in relation to ESG
Proficiency in drafting and interpreting contracts and clauses
Strong commercial negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
Sound understanding of procurement category management
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
Commercial awareness, business acumen, and ability to analyze data for effective decision-making
Self-motivated with high energy to drive results and meet deadlines
