The Demand Planning Manager joins a growing pharmaceutical business to provide long-term absence cover and will be responsible for leading the European Demand Planning Function encompassing people, processes, and systems.
This role is ideally suited to expert Demand Planners with a proven track record of team management and expertise in managing multi-country forecasts that are available immediately or at short notice.
Key Accountabilities
Overall responsibility for the European Demand Planning process and the monthly demand forecast
Drive forecast accuracy improvement.
Generate monthly Demand KPIs, report on forecast accuracy, inventory levels and delivery performance and drive continuous improvements.
Act as the Master data process owner and maintain governance.
Super user for product data, demand and replenishment planning.
Plan the supply of products to meet agreed customer service levels and inventory targets whilst minimising obsolescence and managing changes to finished products.
Coordinate logistics movements throughout Europe.
Liaise with logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery.
Person Specification
Proven Demand Planning career success gained in a complex European Supply Chain
Demonstrable people management experience
Pharmaceutical or medical devices sector experience is advantageous
Knowledge of SAP and/or Oracle is beneficial
Ideally, educated to degree level
Industry-specific qualifications such as BPICS, APICS, and CIPS are beneficial
Overseas applicants will not be considered
Eligible to work and remain in the UK until 2025
Willing to work onsite on a weekly basis
