They're a major name within the sporting events arena responsible for creating and organising unique productions in iconic locations throughout the world. They currently have an opening for a Senior Procurement Manager with experience in the Event Management space.

As to be expected with an events-based role on a truly global platform like this there will be some travel involved and you'll find yourself in a strong position to nurture and build on your existing network. This position will suit an individual with proven purchasing credentials and exemplary organisation skills. You will ideally have previous experience working on large scale productions such as sports events or music festivals involving complex construction and the procurement of a wide array of good and services. You may also be coming from a marketing procurement background with competency in multi-channel marketing disciplines including Media (TV OOH Sponsorship Radio and Press) PR and Display Advertising.

Required skills & attributes.

  • Previous experience creating and managing a procurement schedule and managing technical leads to obtain the correct information.

  • End-to-end tender management (including scope of work contract variations etc.).

  • The ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and prioritise effectively.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven negotiation skills and effective stakeholder management.

  • Flexible approach regarding working patterns and international travel.
