An exciting procurement opportunity with a leading Global Professional Services firm in Canary Wharf with an additional option to work out of the Liverpool Street office. Full CIPs training is offered and we are ideally seeking applicants who have either worked in a Procurement Analyst position already or are looking for an opportunity to move into an Procurement environment from a similarly analytical role. The company offers hybrid working of 1 day per week in the office / 4 days working from home. The role will require an individual with a commercial and enquiring nature to understand the varied and sometimes complex requirements. You will provide analytical support to the Procurement team and wider internal stakeholders and day-to-day duties will include: spend analysis opportunity analysis supplier / market analysis preparation of business cases and tender analysis / scoring. Responsibilities:Prepare regular reports to the Procurement team and wider internal stakeholders. Support the management and maintenance of the Procurement systems (Purchase order Contracts Database Spend Cube Sourcing etc.) including training and providing user support. Support and provide input on transversal procurement initiatives such as Strategic Supplier Evaluations Diversity in the Supply Chain Procurement Social Value etc.Respond to internal stakeholders and external clients’ enquiries and develop professional internal client relationships Research and analyse procurement category related data to identify trends performance risks opportunities etc. Provide administrative support to the Procurement Operations Manager and the Head of Procurement when required.

About You

  • Highly analytical and numerate Data manipulation skills including the ability to extract transform and analyse data sets.

  • Excellent attention to detail Highly proficient with MS Excel Highly organised and able to prioritise between competing tasks and projects.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once.

  • A strong interest in data and technology

  • A methodical step by step approach to resolving issues

  • Business skills like effective communication teamwork and task/ time management

  • The adaptability to do a range of work – sometimes complex and non-routine

  • The ability to work under direction use discretion and determine when to escalate issues
