We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Head of Procurement The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the firm's global procurement strategy and operations, including:
Developing and implementing a global procurement strategy that aligns with the firm's overall business objectives
Managing a team of procurement professionals and overseeing all aspects of the procurement process, from sourcing and negotiation to contract management and supplier relationships
Working closely with other business units to ensure that procurement meets their needs
Managing the firm's procurement budget and ensuring that it is spent efficiently and effectively
Key Responsibilities
promote the Procurement function within the firm.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across a global organisation
Excellent leadership capability, evidenced by coaching, mentoring and advising team
Evidence of successfully delivering sourcing projects in a significant number of indirect categories including; IT, Facilities Management, Human Resources, Knowledge & Research and Professional Services.
Drive innovation and best practice in procurement across the firm
Qualifications and Experience
Experience in a senior procurement role, preferably in a global law firm or other professional services organisation or corporate organisation
Strong track record of success in developing and implementing procurement strategies that drive value for the business
Experience in managing a team of procurement professionals
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
