The FM Senior Buyer, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and deliver impactful sourcing initiatives. Leveraging your technical knowledge and market insights, you will develop and execute category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to align procurement strategies with business objectives

  • Develop and implement category strategies, leveraging market intelligence and best practices

  • Lead sourcing initiatives, applying robust methodology to deliver value and mitigate risk

  • Manage supplier relationships, fostering collaboration and driving performance improvement

  • Advocate for standardisation and process efficiency, championing procurement best practices

  • Provide technical and market expertise to support informed decision-making and innovation

Requirements

  • Proven track record in strategic sourcing and category management, with a focus on Facilities Management

  • Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver successful commercial outcomes

  • Strong knowledge of contract law and experience leading cross-functional procurement projects

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate

  • Commercial acumen, with a proven ability to deliver value beyond cost savings

  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., MCIPS) or equivalent experience
