My client urgently need to hire a Logistics Project Manager. Nottingham base role offering hybrid / flexible work location. 9 month fixed term contract, pro rata salary in the region of £35k – £52K
The primary focus of the Logistics Project Manager is to help with the consolidation of multiple DC’s into one larger, technologically advanced Automated Warehouse alongside the on boarding of new Logistics (3PL) Providers.
As the Logistics Project Manager you will lead the seamless transition to the new Automated Warehouse / Depot and 3PL provider.
Before, during and post project you will ensure that all Logistics, Warehousing, Stock and Inventory considerations are identified, mapped and plans put in place to: Ensure no reduction of On time in FULL, OTIF, delivery, maintain customer service levels and generally ensure the project runs to plan.
Combining your Logistics and Supply Chain success, project management skills and strong IT / system experience this role is ideally suited to a Logistics Manager who has a demonstrable history of leading change within complex organisations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Project manage the implementation, integration and on boarding of new 3rd Party, 3PL, Logistics providers
Support the seamless move from multiple, manual Depots to a new Single site automated Warehouse.
