Head of Supply Chain Manufacturing Planning required to join an FMCG business in the East Midlands Nottingham/ Derby area. Permanent role paying circa £60 - £70K P/A + benefits and offers hybrid, home / office flexibility
The Head of Supply Chain Planning drives customer service levels and achieves lowest cost of manufacture through leadership of Supply Chain Planning including: Materials, MRP, Production Planning and Manufacturing customer support
As a key Supply Chain key stakeholder, you will play a highly visible and active role in the success of the business by continually optimising supply chain planning and maintaining effective relationships, internally and externally with customers and suppliers

Who we are looking for:
Suitable applicants will possess a mix of end-to-end supply chain planning career success with a demonstrable history of leading and developing teams
Expert Supply Chain knowledge of: S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, MRP, MPS, Materials Management and Customer Services
Commercially minded your CV will demonstrate your success at reducing costs, improving customer service levels and OTIF performance
Proven track record of leading and developing teams of staff
Existing responsibility for multiple sites, either domestically or on a global basis
Applicants from FMCG Food / Drink / Cosmetics companies are of high appeal. Similar high volume, low value, fast moving, promotionally driven sector experience may be considered suitable
Ideally be educated to degree level or hold an Industry specific qualification such as APICs, CIPs etc.
Existing SAP systems usage is advantageous
Possess strong Excel skills
