Category Manager

up to £550 per day (inside IR35)

The Opportunity:-

My client is currently recruiting for two interim Category Managers posts to cover the following spend areas:-

  • Construction / FM – including areas such as housing, capital maintenance, regeneration, infrastructure and highways
  • Social Care – including Adults, Children’s and Public Health

These roles are working for a London based client with the expectation of significant home / remote working with occasional office visits.

Key Candidate Criteria:-

  • In depth knowledge and practical experience of procurement best practice and commercial delivery within a centralised function
  • Experience of contracting utilising the Public Sector procurement rules PCR2015 / OJEU
  • Knowledge of category management and its commercial value coupled with the ability to deliver across multiple projects
  • Experience in Relationship Management, including supplier management, customer/stakeholder management, KPIs and continuous improvement.
