Category Manager

c£600 - 650 per day (inside IR35)

The Opportunity:-

My client is currently recruiting for an interim Construction Category Manager level role to deliver the commercial strategy / implementation of a framework solution that will cover areas such as new build, repairs and maintenance, capital works etc.

Working for a London based client, the expectation is a mix of home working with office visits two days per week.

Key Candidate Criteria:-

  • Housing / construction / environment / repairs and maintenance related procurement / category management experience, ideally gained from within a Local Authority / Council environment is desirable
  • Experience of contracting utilising the Public Sector procurement rules PCR2015 / OJEU
  • Experience in the strategy formation, procurement and delivery of a framework solution
  • Great stakeholder relationship engagement skill / business partnering approach
