Our client, a high profile organisation with a £multimillion spend, is currently recruiting a Contract Manager to work within the procurement team and liaise and advise with the wider business and senior stakeholder. This is a brand new role in the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity with the ability to really make it your own.
You will be part of an emerging team that will design and deliver a Contract Management function that will provide maximum innovation and commercial benefit/return from effective contract management. This includes drafting, overseeing existing contracts, the development of robust tools, techniques, processes, governance and compliance through engaging with senior stakeholders across the numerous business areas.
The successful candidates will have complex and high profile Contract Management leadership experience. In conjunction with this, strong experience in the management of financial elements within contracts to judge best value whilst creating and maintaining a sustainable yet competitive commercial solution is strongly desirable. MCIPS or IACCM qualification, or working towards would be beneficial.
