We are delighted to be partnering with one of the UK’s largest private hospitals to recruit a Head of Procurement to lead the department into its next phase of growth.

 

Founded close to 100 years ago and with state-of-the-art facilities throughout London, they continue to go from strength to strength. This presents an opportunity for an established procurement professional with a background in healthcare to join a highly respected organisation at a pivotal point in its journey as the team prepares to introduce a substantial capital replacement programme and deliver a new healthcare inventory management system. With many other exciting new projects on the horizon, we are looking for someone who thrives in a challenging ever-changing healthcare environment and has experience influencing strategic change across a multi-faceted stakeholder group.

 

In your role as Head of Procurement you will be responsible for the leadership and development of a team of 30+ individuals. You will be proactive in the promotion of a central purchasing philosophy, championing best practice procurement and driving compliance, and the development of e-procurement throughout the organisation. You will provide guidance and business management solutions to your stakeholders, developing multi-user focus groups to evaluate common services/products across the organisation. You will also support the organisation’s sustainability plans by leading on all procurement and supply chain sustainability projects and initiatives.

Please note, this is a London-based position, and you will be expected to be in the Marylebone office up to 3 days per week.

 

The salary being offered is between £80-100k and benefits include:
