I am working with a leading Transportation organisation on a Procurement Category Manager position.

As a Procurement Category Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring category and sourcing plans are executed across an array of indirect categories. This is an exciting role for an individual looking to develop their skills further. The role would suit someone who wants to work on leading projects in a fast-paced and regulated environment.  To be successful in this role you will need.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience sourcing Indirect categories such as – Marketing, Travel & Events Office Services & Office Supplies
  • Strong stakeholder engagement ability to partner, influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing contracts and supplier relationships to maximise commercial and contractual benefits.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies & procedures.

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent such as MCIPS or MRICS.
  • Experience in a complex matrixed environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
