Global Director of Procurement

Langley Search & Interim is working with an unusual global organisation that is looking for a Global Director of Procurement based out of Manchester/London managing a team based in 5 locations globally. 

You will lead a professional procurement function that has been built over the last 3 years providing leadership, governance and strategic guidance on a global scale, continuing to embed category management and ‘best practice’ processes.

Ideally you will have the following:

  • Experience of successful delivery in a complex matrix environment working globally and cross-culturally
  • Able to provide the vision and leadership toa diverse and large procurement team
  • A deep understanding of Category Management processes and methodology
  • Evidence of delivery of savings and added value benefits to previous employers
  • Ability to travel freely

In return for your expertise a salary of up to c. £80 - 90k is offered plus excellent benefits

My Client a niche procurement consultancy is currently looking for a specialist IT Category Manager. The IT Category Manager will report into the Director Onsite at one of their prominent clients. Langley Search & Interim is working with a client in South Wales who seeks a Head of Strategic Sourcing to lead their Procurement Team.  Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain you will have experience of building and managing Supply Chains in a growing and diversifying business.

Ideally you will have the following:

  • Have led, coached and developed teams in the Category Management process
  • Have a broad knowledge of direct and indirect supply bases
  • Be an experienced practitioner who is able to maximise benefits and deliver total value for money benefits
  • Be skilled in SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) and be able to demonstrate delivery of continuous improvement through relationship management and contract development  with suppliers
