Procurement Associate

My client, a global private equity investment firm, is looking for an Associate, Procurement. The Associate Procurement will be based out of the London office.

The Associate, Procurement will be responsible for leading all major sourcing projects, they will also provide guidance & partner with the broader firm on all procurement matters.

They will educate the Firm on the benefits of procurement to raise the profile of procurement, assisting stakeholders across both pre and post-contracts.

They will work collaboratively with the department leaders to obtain the best possible outcomes. Negotiating commercial terms, reviewing contracts and onboarding new suppliers. They will design and draft RFI & RFP documentation with the wider Firm.

Responsibilities required:

Commercial Contract Manager

Langley Search & Interim is working exclusively with a global professional services company to find two Commercial Contract Managers.

You should have the following:

  • A deep understanding of how contracts work, including regulatory issues, ensuring SLAs & KPIs adhere to.
  • Senior Supplier Relationship Management/ Contract Management experience in Financial Services or Corporate Services. You will have the knowledge & understanding of the way procurement/commercial teams operate in these sectors, their constraints, metrics, processes, mindsets & commercial strengths & weaknesses.
  • Deep experience of working in SRM or Contract Management in senior roles in the Financials Services or Corporate Services sector.
  • Strong interpersonal/influencing & communication skills at ‘C’ level both internally and externally. Assertive and articulate and can ‘pace & lead’ senior stakeholders with confidence leading to successful commercial outcomes
  • A team player who is not interested in the glory.  Able to cope with ambiguity and balance conflicting priorities balancing workload to get the optimum outcomes.
  • Be a proven strong strategic negotiator who can show you have developed new successful strategies and commercial models.  You will have delivered successful contracts with multi-million-pound value and criticality. An understanding of complex contracts including multi-entity/multi-country or global contracts may be advantageous.
  • Able to have difficult conversations and get the required outcomes for the Firm.
  • Of degree caliber, MBA and/or CIPS is desirable.

 

This role will be based out of Birmingham. Considerable flexibility around working location is offered.
