NEC Contract Manager

Our client, a high profile organisation with a £multibillion spend, are currently recruiting into a Commercial Lead – NEC Contract Manager role which will have the responsibility for high profile / high visibility prestigious project contract delivery

Managing an estimated contract value of c£65m the successful candidate will work closely with the key stakeholder to provide stand-alone / hands-on strategic contract management expertise in areas such as risk management, supplier management and contract reviews. The role also offer the opportunity to provide contract management support, advice and training to the wider business.

This is an exciting opportunity that will suit candidates who have a deep understanding of NEC forms of contract and like to have real influence within a high profile project environment.

This role attracts a salary of up to £74k + bonus and can be based out of London and Cardiff or Manchester (with London travel).

Commercial Manager (Procurement Manager / Contract Manager)

My client, a high profile and complex Public Sector organisation, is looking to recruit Commercial Managers to lead on end-to-end activities including areas such as strategic category management, procurement / sourcing and contract management. The successful candidates will be working on high value / complexity service based contracts

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • Commercial experience which could be from either a procurement or contract management perspective. This could be gained from working across any one of a number of categories / spend areas inc. HR, professional services, corporate, FM, construction, marketing, travel, social care etc.
  • Experience of engaging with internal stakeholders and/or suppliers at a mid to senior level to drive and manage change and deliver the strategic priorities.
  • Experience of staff management would be desirable (mentoring / development in this areas can be provided)
  • Previous experience in Public Sector procurement / OJEU / PCR2015 would be desirable but isn’t essential.

This opportunity offers a base salary range of £30,900 - £34,090 with a potential stretch to £45,102 (depending on MCIPS qualifications) + bens (including in year rewards).

My client, a high profile and complex Public Sector organisation, is looking to recruit Commercial Managers to lead on end-to-end procurement lifecycle activities including areas such as commercial strategy, category management, sourcing and contract management. The successful candidates will deliver high value / complexity procurements and/ or contract management in the Estates / Facilities Management category. The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • Commercial experience which could be from either a procurement or contract management perspective. This could be gained from working across any one of a number of categories / spend areas inc. HR, professional services, corporate, FM, construction, marketing, travel, social care etc.
  • Experience of engaging with internal stakeholders and/or suppliers at a mid to senior level to drive and manage change and deliver the strategic priorities.
  • Experience of staff management would be desirable (mentoring / development in this areas can be provided)
  • Previous experience in Public Sector procurement / OJEU / PCR2015 would be desirable but isn’t essential.
