Langley Search & Interim is working with an unusual global organisation that is looking for a Category Manager – HR working in the UK and in liaison with their procurement teams in 5 Global Regions. You will be part of a global team of professional procurement staff, many of whom have recently been recruited as part of the set-up of 'best practice' procurement globally.
Ideally you will be based in Manchester/London with some of the week home based. There is a flexible working scheme and you will have the opportunity to visit their regional procurement hubs as required.
Your role will be to 'lead' on the development of category procurement strategies globally and implement these plans supporting the procurement teams in the regions.
Ideally you should have sound technical skills (CIPS or equivalent preferred), be of degree calibre with excellent communication and influencing skills and have a good knowledge of the HR category and best practice in this area.
This is an exciting & interesting role which will enable you to travel and work with different cultures in different geographies around the world. If you desire, there is the opportunity to relocate to different countries as part of the career path offered.
In return for your expertise a salary of up to £45k is offered plus benefits and 32 days holiday!
