Langley Search & Interim is working with our client, a large international blue chip organisation, based on the M3/M4 corridor of the UK. They seek an HR Category Manager to join their large, successful procurement team with a focus on recruitment services (permanent and interim), services for talent & succession planning and other HR spend areas.
This company is currently undertaking a transformation of their procurement team which is leading to significant business benefits and you will be a key part of this process in providing value for money contracts for the HR Category Area. You will be responsible for devising and implementing category plans to this end.
They seek the following:
- Deep experience of the HR Category procurement area or good experience of buying indirect services where the HR category was a key part of this portfolio.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Graduate calibre or equivalent
- Ideally CIPS qualified, MBA is desirable but not essential
- The ability to build key stakeholder relationships with senior HR stakeholders internally and with providers externally
- A team player – not interested in the glory!
