Seeking Global FM Procurement Lead

Langley Search & Interim is working with a global private sector company to find a Global FM Procurement Lead to be based in Manchester or Bracknell.  This role provides the leadership for all the procurement areas of FM (hard, soft, TFM) and leads a team of c. 15 key procurement people managed through a matrix structure

You should have the following:

  1. A detailed procurement knowledge of the FM category, supply base, best practice etc
  2. The ability to lead a procurement team globally/cross culturally and work in cross functional teams effectively
  3. Demonstrable experience of working credibly with key senior stakeholders in this FM category & building strong relationships
  4. Excellent influencing and communication skills
  5. Commercial acumen and a good procurement negotiator – can also put in place best practice SRM practices
  6. Of graduate calibre – MCIPS is desirable but not essential
  7. Experience of dealing with TFM (Total Facilities Management) where the management of large parts of the estate is outsourced currently
