Looking for a Project Manager role?

Langley Search & Interim is working with a global manufacturing/engineering based business that seeks a Project Manager to join their team based in London, UK.

This is a company that has successfully won several new contracts recently and is growing and expanding globally.  Ideally you will have the following:

  • You will have strong project management experience (PRINCE2 or equivalent preferred) in an engineering/manufacturing environment with a good knowledge of procurement/supply chain functions.  
  • You will be able to develop and implement key project management procedures to embed best practice processes in the business for the current projects and set the project management structure for future projects.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills enabling the building of  effective relationships with relevant stakeholders (Commercial, other Project areas and Engineering Functions) and have effective and robust planning and project management skills.
  • Evidence of developing budgets with key stakeholders and carrying out ongoing budget management and reporting.
  • An appreciation of procurement and supply chain areas and be competent in liaising with other colleagues globally to ensure that there is effective liaison over sourcing and supply.
  • Be numerate and have managed cost management elements for bids and current projects and developed and managed critical KPIs to support reporting and governance on projects.
  • Ideally you will have worked in a bid-support environment and led the deployment for new bids and delivery on contracts won. 
  • You will also manage risk profiling enabling risk and schedule conflicts to be identified early to enable early resolution.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in cross-functional teams  - a team player
  • Some international travel may be required
