Commercial Manager - Warwickshire

Our Client is a leading provider of supply chain services to its clients using cutting edge methodologies.  They seek a commercial manager with ambition and a desire for development to join the team of one of their major clients.

The commercial manager is responsible for supporting the Senior Commercial Manager in the growth of the client partnership through delivery of sound commercial business improvement cases account. They will also take responsibility for revenue targets through relationship and commercial management of suppliers to agreed budgets and performance, through regular governance processes.

The commercial manager will also sit on multiple project teams to provide commercial input, whilst helping to manage projects to cost, with the relevant commercial frameworks and agreements in place.

The Candidate

Our client seeks a degree calibre, strong commercially astute manager with knowledge of financial accounting, commercial agreement set-up and who has account management and business development experience.  Also supplier management experience and the ability to build a commercial position and negotiate around this to drive successful partnerships for all parties is a required skill-set.

Whilst a track record in the above would be ideal, our client would welcome applications from commercially astute candidates, with relationship management experience, negotiation skills and understanding of commercial agreement formation, perhaps someone who has supported a commercial manager and now wants to take that next step.

With first class communication skills and strong relationship development ability - both internal and external and you will have an excellent eye for detail and customer service, with strong numerical and problem solving skills.
