Interim Customer Supply Manager (10 Month Contract)

£150 per day

Our client is a world leading global healthcare manufacturer. They are urgently seeking an Interim Customer Supply Manager to deliver excellent supplier to depot customer service and to initiate projects and initiatives that will reduce the Cost to Serve and improve profitability of the account.

Your key tasks are:

-          Ensure Customer target levels (both internal and with the customer) for inbound service are consistently met or exceeded

-          Build collaborative event forecasting process with retailer. Eliminate Out of Stock due to NPD, Seasonal and Promotional forecasting errors

-          Minimise customer returns

-          Work with customers to ensure requests do not build in unacceptable supply chain costs (e.g. changes in order multiples, delivery points, order days, lead times etc).

-          Identify and lead initiatives and implement improvements in service level processes with Customers.

-          Contribute to the overall performance of the Supply Chain Team, through customer insights and managing stock available as a whole.

You will have:

-          Understanding of the S&OP Process ideally.

-          Retailer Supply chain experience is desirable.

-          Understand Forecast to Stock processes is essential.

-          Minimum of 3 years experience in FMCG Supply Chain

-          Knowledge of retailer trends including Factory Gate Pricing, Shelf Ready Packaging and On-Shelf Availability is desirable.
