Inventory Supply Planner - Kent

Our client is a leader provider of products that promote health and wellness. They seek a supply chain planner to manage the availability of inventory available for sale, through the management of a number of manufacturing partners and international network of warehouses, with the objective to maximise product availability for sale, while minimising inventory carrying costs.

Salary to c.£35k plus benefits - based Kent

 You will balance inventory cost-effectively through re-distribution and place purchase orders against Third Party suppliers based in the Far East and manage purchase orders to meet agreed delivery dates, ensuring vendor performance meets minimum requirements.

You will liaise with shipping to ensure that in DC delivery dates are met; managing the performance and accuracy of the 3rd part DCs based in the UK, Northern & Southern Europe)

You will participate in the movement of the current planning system to a new ERP system (Mercia Links) that supports the company, in the meantime ensuring product replenishment parameters and pricing are correct and aligned.

Requirements

Of Graduate calibre with excellent planning & organisational skills you will have a sharp eye for detail, accurate and highly numerate,

 A first class communicator you are a natural relationship builder, with excellent influencing skills.

You must be able to demonstrate Project Management skills within an extended supply chain in order to support future growth and transition.

With well developed spreadsheet/data manipulation skills, you must be adept with ERP / MRP / Planning / Forecasting systems and implementation experience would be beneficial.
