Demand Planner / Forecasting Champion - Cambridgeshire

 They are looking for a forecasting ‘champion’ or ‘expert’ for a new position.  This person will fully understand the forecasting process and more importantly how to utilise the systems and algorithms to best make use of the data and understand the effect on the supply chain that forecasting and changes can have.

 You will be an experienced user of forecasting systems, adept at capturing and using historical demand and event management to create a SKU level forecast across many locations and you will understand statistical forecasting on seasonal products and NPI/NPD.

You will expect to train other team members the ‘best practice’ and be able to sell the process, system and numbers across the business. There is scope within this role for the position to develop into a forecast team leader for the right person if they are looking to move in that direction.

Strong with numbers and data analysis, a passion for forecasting, you will have a strong eye for detail, be a first class communicator and have excellent systemic ability with both forecasting tools and MS packages.
