Our client is a leading manufacturer of branded FMCG goods, supplying to the major multiple retailers in the UK and Europe. Through recent significant business growth and change they seek a Demand Forecast Manager for a new position tasked with delivery of best practice methodologies through development of both systems and processes.

Demand Forecast Manager - FMCG Manufacturing

Bedfordshire / bordering on Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire

c. £40-50k (poss. scope) plus benefits

This role is requires a forecasting profession who is able to balance working with the forecast numbers and also take a bigger view to long–term developments and strategy, through a small team. The role will require someone who is able to manage systemic development.

You will:

be a passionate advocate of “one set of numbers” and S&OP methods
understand the mechanics of FMCG promotions, NPD and seasonality
utilise and get the best from both internal and external collaboration on forecasts
be able to balance internal capability with external demand & manage expectations
have the credibility to challenge assumptions in pro-active manner
add value whilst running the S&OP processes and an overall desire for customer service

Are you a degree calibre supply chain professional with forecasting experience from manufacturing or a leading retailer? Do you enjoy a challenge and always look for the best way of doing something and continuous improvement? Do you have strong system skills with ERP or Forecasting tools?

Along with the technical ability, you will need to be focused, pay attention to details and be a first class communicator with excellent relationship management skills.
