Our Client is a leader in the manufacture of health products who are seeking a Logistics Controller to manage both physical & virtual logistics processes and vendors. Reporting to the Ops Director & managing a team of three you will look to maximise on time delivery and ensure a high level of quality and service is delivered at minimal cost.

Salary c.£40k plus car & Benefits

KEY ACTIVITIES

• Manage an effective relationship with third party logistics service providers,
• Develop the capacity and competence of 3Pl vendors to meet the organisations goals.
• Manage customer logistics & warehouse processes to ensure compliance with HMRC requirements
• Establishment and management of a reverse logistics process to maximise value while minimising cost for returned product.

You will be a strong supply chain professional with excellent knowledge of warehouse management systems and customs legislation with well developed spreadsheet/database manipulation skills.

 

Logical and analytical you will have planning & organisation skills, a keen eye for detail, strong influencing skills and be possess Project Management skills within an extended supply chain.
