In early 2010 the Non-Inventory Buying Team at 3663 was asked to support a complex, business critical
project with some degree of urgency. The team at the time were running at full capacity and could not provide the level of resource required to take on this
task.
We decided we needed to support the team by bringing in external interim resource expertise. Given the nature and
timescales of the project this was still a major challenge.
Langley Search & Selection were approached on the off chance
that they may be able to help. Langley took the time to really understand the specific context of our assignment, the outcomes we needed to achieve and the
competencies a successful candidate should have.
Langley came back within the day with an available candidate that was a
perfect match for us. An interview was quickly arranged and the candidate started the following week.
