Category Specialist - Construction & Estates
Salary band of c£51-£61k + up to £6k market supplement (dependant on location) + excellent benefits. This opportunity offers very flexible hybrid working and can be based across a number of locations across East / South East England.
My client is currently recruiting for a Category Specialist for the construction / estates / FM spend areas. The successful candidate will deliver category, procurement and contract management strategies, as well as hands-on sourcing activities, which will reach across a wide stakeholder community.
The successful candidate will ideally bring a blend of the following skills / experience: -
Clear commercial / procurement experience in the construction / estates / FM categories at a procurement manager or category manager level
Experience of contracting utilising the Public Sector procurement rules - PCR2015 / OJEU
Knowledge of category management / contract management, and its commercial value, coupled with the ability to deliver across multiple projects
Great stakeholder relationship engagement skills / business partnering approach
